School History

Latin Beauty Academy, was founded in September 2006 in West Palm Beach, Florida during a time when many Latin people were establishing at the Palm Beach County, primarily from Mexico, Peru, Cuba, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Colombia. At that time Mrs. Rosa Enriquez thought there was a need of a Latin beauty school in private education industry to develop beauty programs in high demand for the growing Latin community.

Latin Beauty Academy was opened and approved by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE) on April 15, 2008. The programs of the institution were created by focusing on a qualified and practical vocational education to guide the vision and mission statements established by her president, Mrs. Enriquez.

Latin Beauty Academy is a corporation formed under the laws of the State of Florida with the sole ownership of Dr. Ariel Espinosa, President/CEO. Dr. Espinosa bought the school on October 2010 keeping the same vision as Mrs. Enriquez established on September 2006. He analyzed the need of an accredited institution, for all in the community: English and Spanish speakers, which was regulates under national education’s standards that would employ well-trained faculty to provide a quality education. Since 2014 Latin Beauty Academy is accredited by NACCAS and since 2015 was approved by the U.S. Department of Education, where the students -if they qualify- can receive financial aid. The growth of the school's population caused its expansion on 2016 to have an additional classroom space at 6350 Forest Hill Blvd. Suite #350 Greenacres, FL 33415 (next door to the main campus entrance). On 2017, the school was re-accredited during a 6 years period until 2023.
